Get Your Guidelines – Promotional Items for Christmas

Are you looking for giveaway promotional items in the run up to Christmas? Are you struggling, wondering what gifts you can give your customers or staff? What’s the ideal Christmas gift to your customers?

There is a simple promotional item that appeals to all groups of people. It’s simple, likely to be referred to often and will be kept handy. Best of all, the recipients are likely to show the gift they have received to their friends, colleagues and even their own customers. And this might just make you a few more customers.

So what is this wonder promotional item that ladies will carry in their handbags and gentlemen office workers in their briefcases? What will be left on desks, ready to hand and picked up and looked at, possibly daily?

Quite simply, it’s the promotional diary. These fantastic promotional items will be kept until replaced, by which time the owner will have referred to them, stored their personal diary and appointments in them and kept them close to hand. And every time they are making plans with their friends, out will come the diaries. Your logo will be flashed before their eyes!

There are a variety of pocket diaries to choose from. These are what the bulk of people are used to and are most likely to use as they fit neatly into handbags, briefcases and even just pockets. They are even small enough to sit on a telephone table at home.

Add to the pocket diary your logo or a message printed onto the front, and it’s likely that it will be seen throughout the year.

If you are dealing with office workers, or people who’s work involves making a lot of appointments, then the larger range of desk diaries are probably more suited to them. These allow plenty of space to record future appointments and thus become the tool that the need to carry with them.

Then there’s the choice between week to view and day to view diaries. If you are working with people making lots of appointments per day, for example riding schools and driving instructors, then the day to view provides the required space for all of their appointments.

But if the person is making less appointments, for example office workers, then the day to view might be big enough for their needs.

The worst thing you can do is to have a batch of diaries produced then to find that the recipients actually need much bigger diaries and the diaries you have just paid out for are put away in drawers, in case they are needed later in the year.

If in doubt, a bigger diary might be safer. Having said that, don’t provide day to view A5 diaries if the person is likely to want to carry them in a bag!

Also think about cheap promotional mugs.
